How to Use the Light Mine
- Slide the rear switch to ON. A new switch can be stiff. Push it all the way over with your thumb until it clicks into place.
- Attach it to steel with any of the 12 magnetic posts, or rest it on three or four posts.
- Roll the spherical body until the beam lands on the work.
- Keep both hands on the task.

At 1.6 inches high and 1.5 inches across, the Light Mine fits into breaker panels, engine work, cabinets, and other spaces where a full-size flashlight becomes the problem.

The spherical body rotates across its magnetic posts for 360-degree aiming. On a non-steel surface, rest it on three or four posts and point it at the task.

How many Light Mines are included?
One Magnetic Light Mine, with three LR44 batteries already inside. Need more? The 3-pack and 5-pack are just below.
Is this an area light or a close-up task light?
It is a 15-lumen close-range task light. Use it for breaker panels, engine work, cabinets, wiring, plumbing, and other tight spaces. Choose a larger flashlight or area light for distance and broad coverage.
How does it mount and aim?
Each spherical light has 12 neodymium magnetic posts that attach to steel. Roll the body across the posts for 360-degree aiming, or rest it on three or four posts on a non-steel surface.
How long does each light run?
Each Light Mine runs for up to 10 hours on three LR44 batteries.
Why won’t my Light Mine turn on?
A new switch can be stiff. Push it all the way to ON with your thumb until it clicks over and stays.
Can the batteries be replaced?
Yes, but open the locking tabs carefully because forcing them can damage the housing. Replace all three batteries together, use LR44 alkaline or SR44 silver-oxide equivalents, and do not mix battery chemistries. Wrap the new batteries in tape like the originals, leaving the ends bare.
Can it pick up dropped hardware?
Yes. The magnetic posts can retrieve small ferrous screws, washers, nails, and bits from hard-to-reach places.
Is it waterproof?
It’s weather resistant, not waterproof. Rain and splashes are fine. Don’t leave it sitting in water, and dry it off after wet work.
